You might be able to get a refund from Medicare (Medicare Rebate) when you see a psychologist. To find out if you are eligible, consult your doctor for a Mental Health Care Plan. Additionally, your psychiatrist or paediatrician can directly refer you to our services.

You will need to bring your GP referral with you on your first appointment, or email to us prior. You can receive up to 10 Medicare rebates per calendar year.

You may be able to receive a rebate from your Private Health Fund if you are covered for psychological or counselling services. The amount will vary depending on your specific fund and insurance coverage. We can’t say for sure how much you’ll get, so it’s best to check your cover with your fund directly.

Keep in mind that it’s not possible to receive a rebate from both Medicare and your private health fund for the same session.
